Install KSI Vision without replacing your cameras.

Connect KSI to your existing CCTV infrastructure and start measuring traffic, queues, dwell time and real conversion in days. The deployment adapts to your network, data policies and scale.

Deployment model

From existing cameras to business intelligence.

CCTV

IP cameras, analog cameras, DVR or NVR

KSI Node or cloud processing

Analytics, alerts and APIs for your teams

Compatible with existing CCTV

IP, analog, DVR and NVR infrastructure.

Cloud, on-premise or hybrid

Flexible according to data and IT policies.

No construction work

Software deployment with no operational interruption.

Implementation process

From assessment to live operation in one sprint.

The implementation is designed to be low-friction: KSI reviews the current camera infrastructure, configures the software and validates the analytics before your teams use the data.

  1. 01

    Camera assessment

KSI verifies compatibility with the current CCTV infrastructure: IP cameras, analog, mixed, connected to DVR or NVR.

    Day 1
  2. 02

    Architecture definition

KSI selects cloud, centralized or decentralized deployment according to the network, data policies and IT capacity.

    Day 1
  3. 03

    Software configuration

KSI installs and configures the software on the selected environment: cloud instance, central server or local node.

    Day 1-2
  4. 04

    Zone calibration

KSI defines counting zones, virtual lines, queues and analysis areas according to the business questions.

    Day 2
  5. 05

    Validation and handoff

KSI verifies accuracy, adjusts parameters and trains the team to use the dashboard and interpret the data.

    Day 2-3
  6. System operational with real-time data

Architectures

Three deployment models, one software platform.

KSI adapts to distributed chains, shopping malls, airports and mixed networks. The right architecture depends on bandwidth, camera access, compliance requirements and IT availability.

01

Decentralized installation

decentralized

One Server/Workstation per location

Each store, mall or airport runs the analysis locally on a dedicated server or workstation.

  • Video is processed within the location.
  • Only metadata and statistics travel to the cloud.
  • Minimal external bandwidth consumption.

Best for restricted bandwidth, unstable internet or policies that prevent external CCTV access.

02

Centralized installation

centralized

One central Server/Workstation

A single central server or workstation processes cameras across the network.

  • Avoids installing hardware at each site.
  • Leverages existing video centralization.
  • Reduces maintenance cost across many locations.

Best when your organization already centralizes camera access in a datacenter or monitoring room.

03

Full cloud installation

cloud

KSI cloud or client cloud

Analytics run on KSI Cloud or the client's cloud, without physical servers on site.

  • Zero on-site hardware.
  • Fast deployment at new locations.
  • Compatible with AWS, Azure or GCP when required.

Best for fast rollouts, lean IT teams or camera networks already designed for cloud access.

"Server/Workstation" refers to any on-premise computing equipment: physical server, workstation, virtual machine or dedicated appliance. In full cloud mode it is replaced by a cloud instance: KSI Cloud or the client cloud.

Operations and trust

Operational continuity

KSI Nodes are monitored in real time. If a node loses internet connection, analytics continue locally and data queues to be sent when the connection returns.

  • Automatic security and analytics updates.
  • Proactive monitoring of cameras, connectivity and services.
  • N+1 architectures available for critical operations.

Privacy and cybersecurity

KSI is designed not to generate personal data: it does not perform facial or biometric recognition, does not store video analytics recordings and transmits aggregated anonymous metadata.

  • Image processing at the KSI Node.
  • Data encrypted at rest and in transit.
  • Access controls, roles, audit logs and MFA for critical systems.

Decision support

Choose architecture based on the real constraints of your network.

How many sites and cameras need analytics?

Can cameras be viewed remotely from a central network?

What privacy, cloud and cybersecurity policies apply?

Does your team already operate servers, virtual machines or cloud instances?

Custom design

Which architecture is right for your operation?

Tell us how many sites and cameras you have, what data policy you follow and whether you have an IT team. A KSI specialist will propose a specific architecture and the minimum required infrastructure.

  • Architecture recommendation in less than 48 business hours.
  • Estimation of hardware or cloud computing per site.
  • Deployment plan with timelines and owners.
